Looking at options to plug the holes and I'm seeing two common terms: Bar Ends & Bar End Sliders. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 From my own observation, it looks like "Ends" are 70% cosmetic, 30% protection and almost always metal, whereas "Sliders" are 100% protection and some kind of plastic. Which would lead me to believe that in the event of a crash, the plastic helps the bike slide versus grab the concrete and flip the bike. But I could also see these terms being used lazily / interchangeably and have no meaningful difference. Looking for confirmation either way.
I have Woodcraft clipons and am after protection over cosmetics. Any suggestions? I see Woodcraft has native Slider options, but curious if there are others I'm not finding. Zeta also has some smaller universal Sliders but beyond those two, I'm not seeing any other universal bar end sliders.
