What's wrong with the setup you have? What do you want to change?

 

There is nothing wrong with it. I would like to be able to mount a rear luggage box for longer/overnight rides.

 

Do you need to take a passenger?

 

No. But I’m only getting older and stepping over is a bit of a hassle. I prefer to swing my leg over. lol

 

It’s a neat looking bike and nice pic🧐 but I also thought about a rack but in your case that xllong passenger seat covered up with a bag would improve the only eye sore part in my opinion. Even with it cut down and a nice bag instead of a passenger seat if possible. The rest of the design of the xsr I would probably prefer the style to my gen4 mt09. Welcome to the asylum 🥸

 

I recommend putting extra luggage in a tank bag if the side panniers are not enough, next best solution is a tail bag strapped to the passenger seat. Putting an ugly rear rack and top box on top of that puts the weight high up and far to the rear which can upset bike stability at higher speed.

 

I just strap on a Kreiga tail bag if I need more storage. I hate the look of hardware and bubbles.

 

I’m not a fan of the look either. But sometimes I prefer functionality over looks.

 

Which windscreen is that? How do you like it?

 

It is a Puig universal windscreen. If I remember right is was the “naked” in dark smoke. It works decent, keeps most of the wind off my chest but allows airflow to the helmet. Retails for like $50. I bought it while I was working at a dealership.
