Attending one of these is on my bucket list.
Maybe with more planning, one of these years we can arrange some sort of get together for one.
Rent a house or something right on the road. :p

Go for it, booking a house will take some pre-planning as they tend to be booked up years in advance and expensive...definitely more of a life event than a race. I'm really not sure how many more years they'll let the race go on in its closed road format there are more and more calls for it to be banned...

Isti, enjoy the holiday. So you're just over for the day? Did you manage to get a ferry ticket for you and the bike?
i was lucky enough to go in 2007 and then again in 2010. A wonderful experience. Still keep up with my homestay host in the hopes of making it back over,

No bike this year, I’m actually going with my dad we are flying over for race week. Should be fun…might need to book in to detox the following week the OG likes a whiskey.
