I'm in Fairfield. Sold the FZ-09, no XSR though. They still charge $10 to go up Diablo?

They still charge $10 on the weekend usually, during the weekdays though there is usually noone at the gate, which means its free to enter.

I just took a peek at Google Earth and the climb up Mt Diablo looks fun. But how many peddle bikes do you come across?

Its about 3,600 feet at the summit, during the week its pretty desolate, not that many ppl on the road. It really is an epic road with countless hairpin turns, the only downside is there is little room for error, I'm talking thousand foot drop offs on the edge of basically every turn with no guard rails. Weekends are a different story and can def be overridden with cars and bicyclists, wouldn't bother trying to go unless you're okay with a slug like pace.
