I find it much more comfortable because I can sit back further in the seat.
Still breaking it in...Corbin recommends 2,000 miles for it to conform to your butt.
THat's what i want. Can you give the specs on the material you used when ordering?
Is the yellow as close to exact Yamaha yellow as possible? Sometimes pics don't show color differences well.
Also the yellow hump - does that have a black strip that runs vertically down the back in line with the center of the blavck tank strip?
The Yellow vinyl that Corbin uses is not a very good match to the Yamaha Yellow of the XSR900, definitely brighter and more yellow than the color of the bike.
I believe G-Primo added the black stripe himself, you could always ask Corbin if they would do something like that, but it isn't the way the seat comes from them.
If I were to do it again, I would not order the Yellow vinyl for the seat. Just my .02
Personally I would like the seat better if the seams on the seat was more like the Yamaha XSR900 comfort seat. Not the diamond pattern. Anyone know if Corbin offer that as an option?
Can someone post a pic of them sitting on their XSR900 with the corbin seat installed? I want to see how it adjusts the riding position. I am debating about buying one for my XSR
Is that a cover on the tail of the seat or just had the color matched to the bike? if it's the color it looks spot on in this photo. Do you have the actual color codes from when you had the seat made?
As above the Corbin seat is a one peice and the cowl is part of the upholster.
You can choose both seat colour and cowl colours, stitching, logo colour, welts (beading) patterns etc.
its so comprehensive its confusing.
about $1000 to get one to Aussie.
yeah
nah
Wanting to get one for my 2016 but corbin doesnt know if it will fit. Do any of you have one on your 2016?
