ECO Mode Indicator?

    ECO Mode Indicator?

    How does this work? Mine stays on all the time, even when I ride hard. It goes off when the clutch is disengaged.

    economy stays on up to 74 mph, turns off at 75+...I have a '15 model

    Mine turns off during harder acceleration and back on during cruising regardless of speed. I believe.

    Mine also flashes on and off....personally I couldnt give a rats arse about eco mode....may stick some gaffer tape over that annoying little snippet of unwanted info

    Thanks for the explanation. Sounds like a useless function. Waste of space on the LCD display. It would have been better if they had tied it into the mpg function!

    It appears to be a simple engine load indicator. Real bikers should never see it.

    I see my eco mode indicator all the time. I think it might also detect age.

    see it there on the dash, never look at it, and don't really care that it's there or not.....

    Agree it’s useless, but it should operate as described above. Nothing to do c 75mph
