    DIY fender eliminator?

Anyone ever grabbed an angle grinder and just cut the LP holder as marked in red and call it a day? Trying to justify spending $100 on a kit!

$100 bucks for and axle and block to replace that? you may want to search through the forum at other threads posted about removing it, parts needed and shop around for the parts for best prices, just saying...

Thanks. I saw a post a while back with stock #'s for older FZ parts. I'll look again.

Here is a $35 tail tidy kit for the 2017+ on ebay that might be worth checking out.

As you might find a 2014 to 2016 Owner who would be willing to take the stock license plate hugger off you hands for a few buck.

Since the fender support arm is worth $123 new just on it's own.

That looks incredibly ghetto, especially the zip tied plate. You spend ~$8k on a bike and then cheap out on such an inexpensive mod? Like Rocky MTN mentioned, you could have sold the stock arm to offset the cost of a fender eliminator kit.
