Question about Penske shock and adjustable ride height.

I know that all three models of Penske shocks for the FZ-09 feature adjustable ride height, but I'm wondering what the range of adjustment is in comparison to the stock ride height (for example, one inch lower than stock through one inch higher)? I have read regarding Penske shocks on other motorcycles that the minimum ride height is still taller than the stock ride height, is this true for the 09 as well?

I don't know if every Penske for the 09 is built to the same specs, for example one from Stoltec might be a bit different than one from Traxxion. If I recall right a Penske from Stoltec with the ride height at the low end is the same length as the stock shock. Also remember the axle moves more than the shock, making the shock 1/4 inch longer could be 1/2 inch etc at the axle.

The Stoltec-spec is the same length as stock in the lowest position. You can effectively get 8 mm of additional length on the shock before the linkage binds. This corresponds to about 3/4" at the axle.
