New turn signals with DRL on EU XSR900?

I have a 2016 XSR900 EU-version with the clear turn signals. What I know only the US version comes with a stock DRL-function.

So Im finally getting rid of the stock turn signals and got new ones that comes with DRL-function. The problem is I dont know how to get them powered? They come with three cables, black and yellow for the led turning lights, and one white one for the DRL.

Does anyone know where I can "steal" power for the DRLs?

I would imagine the easiest solution is to tap into either the low beam feed or side light feed.

Thanks! Is there any way doing this without cutting the original wires you think?

New turn signals with DRL on EU XSR900?

Not sure if Europe models have different wiring harness, witch I doubt because of cost, but if you have 3 wire going in the harness side connector and 2 coming out the turn signal connector you should not have any problems.

One more thing, don’t forget that the headlight does not come on until engine start.

    See Rapier thread.

EU version have the parklight instead of the DRL. If you want to install an aftermarket turn signal with DRL function, you can tap it to the parklight.

Are the EU turn signals LED, or incandescent bulbs like on the US spec XSR?
