    Don't call it a comeback

Back at it again with the XSR.

10 months after my FZ-09 was totaled by a really wicked deer strike at 50 mph, and my ankle and pelvis healed somewhat totally, I was riding my girlfriend's 1990 ninja 250 or my supermoto of death and decided I needed something faster and a little less... deadly.

Saw the XSR in person finally and decided I had to have it because I missed my FZ09 so much.

sooo I bought it. right at $10k out the door good to go. I got the brushed silver or garage metal I guess is what its actually called?

Big fan. Has a lot of nice details for a sub 10k price range.

Needs an exhaust, forgot how wimpy these were with the stock cans on them.

Congrats on the bike, watch out for the four legged creatures with antlers. They are everywhere, as you know.

You say "Needs an exhaust, forgot how wimpy these were with the stock cans on them". I assume you mean the sound of the engine with stock exhaust? I can see that, but wimpy performance wise it is not.

    Again, be careful out there

Thanks, feels good to be back. break in is killing me, excited to get that first oil change done pretty soon.

Picked up some new gear at revzilla on saturday, Icon Basehawk to replace my rashed up one, and some scorpion kevlar jeans.

Ordered another pair of Icon Hooligan jeans as well as an Icon alliance GT with the flip down sun visor, since I'm currently wearing an AFX adv style helmet.

First oil change should be this coming week if the weather breaks, then I'm good to go.

Installing my new exhaust when it comes in, purchased from a forum member, its an Ixil L3XB, should be here Tuesday, then I'm taking it to WCW for a suspension set up.

Will also be ordering a Dart flyscreen in the next week or so hopefully.
