    Hi JD,

From one Connie owner to another, WELCOME. I think I recall seeing your screen name on the COG forum site many times.

We appreciate your assistance. Wish I could make this trip, but I'm afraid it's outside of my driving/riding range for a long weekend. Sounds like a great place with great roads and folks! I know all will really enjoy.

Like the COG, I've found this group to be a great resource with some really great members!

    Thanks again for your help!

(I didn't mean to hijack this important thread...)

    JD,

I am still a COG forum member.

Been kind of infatuated with this little FZ so I've been spending less time on the Connie forum (down to a couple of visits a week) vs here.

That Connie is one great bike. I had the Steve EVO flash done about 4 months ago and she is like a brand new bike.

This FZ is really quick under triple digits, but there is no substitute for cubic centimeters...haha. Connie will flat pick'em up and put'em down.

I have the same screen name over there, so I look forward to running into you on the COG forum in the near term.

Thanks again for helping the guys out here!!

I might be down for this as well. I just attended my first rally with the FZ1OA forum in Suches Georgia (got back Monday). I actually took a week off and put 2000 miles on the FZ10. Hitting Deals gap, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Cherohola Sky way, Tellico plains, and Suches area. Great time and great people I had interacted with on the boards since 2010 and was nice to meet face to face.

I hate to plan something this far out, but let me ponder it and get back.

Wow Harry. You were in my neck of the woods. I'm only 90 minutes from Suches. You should have made it over to Burnsville for the ECR a couple of weeks ago.

Well I'm in Illinois so it's not really a situation where I can just pop in and out. We stayed at Two Wheels in Suches and made daily excursions from there and several loops of Blood Mountain and wolf's pen gap. 68/60 down from Tellico was pretty damn good too. So many great roads in that area, it's just not fair you guys got them all.

They don't actually have a monopoly on them, Arkansas has some pretty great ones also and pretty central too.

In fact there are some damn good ones here in Missouri also, the problem is that I have been riding the same ones now for about 20 years and love new sights, new friends, and new experiences.
