    centered/relocated cluster

I know I might be behind on this but has anyone relocated the cluster back towards the filler and centered it? I think it would really clean up the look of the bike a lot putting it here. I also have worked with koso on other model bikes and think a koso would fit/work and look great on the bike. . Nice and small and still provides many features. Wondering what your thoughts are on this?

Not sure centering the gauge would be worth the trouble, but a few of us have lowered the assembly and that makes a nice difference...

Centering the gauge would interfere with ignition switch methinks? However I would love to have a tach with a real needle in it

Wondering if Yamaha is wanting these owners to go to rfid keyless activation. That would really clean up the front end.
No physical key just a rfid card and puck to turn on the bike. Similar to cars.

it wouldn't, I've done it with the fz with no issues and considering the xsr's gauge is round makes it much easier to deal with in terms of centering and lowering it. there's another thread out there covering Graves bracket that lowers it and owners who have bent the stock bracket lowering the gauge and saving them from buying the Graves unit.

take a look at my galley pics and you can see both versions of my bracket, the current own is mounted between the upper triple clamp and the bar risers, lowest possible position to have the fz gauge in and no issue with the ignition switch.

if someone can give me the dimensions of the gauge, I can draw it up and make a stock card template with an angle to be able to still read the display clearly unlike the flat version brackets available for the fz model.

Looks good. We contacted Koso when the Honda grom came out and we spoke with them at the aim expo here in FL. I guess enough spoke to them and they made a plug n play version.
