Need help with FZ 09 tank panels

I am wanting to replace the tank panel with some others I have found but am having trouble with the secondary panels(not the intake looking ones but the small ones about where your knees are). Do they just pop off with enough force or is there a little clip or something I am missing? Really I'm just scared to break em.

Pretty sure they're two sided taped on. Heat gun or a blow drier or just be easy on them.

Yep, they are held on with very strong two sided tape and you basically pull them off......than prepare to do a lot of cussing getting whats left of the residue/tape off of the tank itself, lol

There are pop clips back there too. You will see them when you start to pry. Follow your finger along the bottom edge and you will find them.

Those are not pop clips, the plastic panels have to plastic guides that go through guide holes (loose fit) in the tank to help align the panel when you stick it on.
