Are you saying there won't be an American version of it?

MT-07 is what I am waiting for. Might even be a parallel twin (Yamaha has such a new engine), but a smaller triple would be good. Might be a bit less 'animal' than the 09 for those of us with less experience.

Damn, a MT-11 ADV would be great.

Yamaha already builds a 660 single in Europe called MT-03. Go to yamaha uk and check it out.
O and while you are there check out the killer accessories over there hopefully coming to America.

They also made a MT-01. Both the -03 and -01 were flops and are no longer in production.

Remember they (Yamaha) also announced that there was going to be a bigger version of the MT/FZ-09 soon.

If the FZ-09 retails for $7,990 then should we expect the MT/FZ-07 to be around a MSRP of $6,990 - $7,190 ?
They couldn't expect someone to purchase the -07 if it was just $500-$600 less than an -09; for that little difference everyone would choose the larger CC model.

Yamaha doesn't need to build a MT-11Adv. If they just put this 847 triple in the super tenere they would have a better bike.
    Light is right...
