Regarding the potential problem draining oil and changing oil filter with exhaust systems that are closer to the engine, like Arrow, Giannelli, Two Br. and others. These pictures are of the Giannelli on the FZ-09 Tracer, and I cant see that this would be a problem. What ya think?

I'm not quite understanding why you think it's wrong to be all about performance on an FZ-09? He can be all about performance on any bike he wants. Who are you to say otherwise?

I think, that this stupidity started when Akrapovic exhaust was mentioned in a "do not like the looks of..." and that struck a nerve somewhere.

Just leave it at that? I did not start this thread to make anyone feel bad about the looks of their very hyped up and expensive exhaust.

    Regards

The stock system is very close to this so I can't see how this would be a problem. I would love to see what tuning changes are needed (if any) for this system.

Be interested to see how it goes for you if you move ahead.

Okay. I think I managed to do it right even tough there are a few parts left over.
Its loud, I think to loud.
I wonder if I buy the catalyst, if that will kill some of the sound, what you think?

    Exhaust XSR900 - Giannelli X-pro full system

Probably one of the better, if not best, budget exhaust systems I've seen for the XSR/FZ/FJ. Those welds look like they're on point.

Edit: I take back the "budget" classification - I was basing that on some of the other comments on the thread. Looks like that system goes for about $900 here in the US. Regardless, it's a good looking system.
