We just had our big Motorcycle Show here in Calgary this past weekend, and there was a big Victory Motorcycle section. I wonder if the rest of the shows across Canada will still have a Victory section? or if they will turn the section into a big closeout sale???

Polaris has also listed the news on their Victory websites.

That's a shame. Even though they're not my thing, we need more brands, not less.

Not surprising really. Victory never had enough "street cred" amongst the chrome and leather crowd to compete head to head with Harley. They are considered better than a "Jap bike" but not by much. - Not my opinion, but I've heard this repeated ad nauseum by many others who are fervent disciples of the bar and shield.

After a few early hiccups Victory made some really nice cruisers. But now they have a brand (Indian) that can compete head to head and put a dent in Harleys market share so no need to keep spending money on the black sheep.

I was a little surprised Polaris added the Indian brand name when they already had the Victory line?

Maybe it was their plan from the beginning to see which line did better after a couple of years, and dump the one that didn't do as good???

If they are looking to cut cost, maybe they should have kept the Victory line and killed the Slingshot line instead, lol.

Bummer! I actually considered a Victory before I bought my fz... shoes you what I use the fz for but couldn't spend it on a cruiser when I only had one other sport bike in the garage 🤣
