meinschaft has the right idea------a car like that would pretty much place you in, what Harry Balsak describes, a "sea of vaginas".
The members of Congress should be required to wear uniforms like the NASCAR drivers.
That way we could identify their corporate sponsors.

I admit a sentimental bias for the Ford GT. In high school, I dated the daughter of the Ford engineer who worked on the original Mustang and was later in charge of the suspension for the 24 Hours of LeMans cars that beat Enzo. One night the girlfriend invited me to visit him at his shop, a place called Kar Kraft. I found myself in a room full of the actual cars that won LeMans in the mid-60s, even got to sit in one. Though I was a mere 17, I had enough sense to realize I was surrounded by history. More recently as a member of Ford's SVTOA club, I got to tour the Wixom assembly plant (now demolished) where the previous GT was hand-assembled.

With self-driving cars around the corner, I'm glad Ford is continuing the tradition of Carroll Shelby and others.

Here are some of the other cars that were in that room.

"Kar Kraft Engineering was originally founded in 1966 by Ed Hull, legendary designer of the Ford GT40. Born out of Ford’s Advanced Vehicle program Kar Kraft was the performance “skunk works” for Ford’s highly successful Le Mans, Can Am, SCCA"

Do you need a sex-tant to navigate that sea?

When I was a kid I had a Shelby Coupe, and a Ferrrari 330LM, bloody fast little slot cars. But the love stuck, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a Lola T70 in one of the local car dealers a year or so ago.
Funny how things like that instantly take you back 50 years.
